Skiing in Scandinavia!??
I'm currently Studying in Sweden, I'm a Park City, Utah native who is looking for some Scandinavian turns while I'm over here..
What are the best resorts..when do they open?
I find it insanely expensive over here, any means of getting around the incredible prices?
I also don't have any of my gear...
Anyone who lives in these parts, want to make friends? =)
Let me know!

Hey!
I'm a Swede, but in the US now.
My tip for you is to post a thread on www.freeride.se , sweden's answer to this message board. There you will get help!
Where in Sweden are you? People is the south often go to the Alps instead.
My favorite resorts are Kitelfjäll and Borgafjäll. The biggest is Åre, close to Östersund.
A really cool place is Riksgränsen, located in the far north. Skiing from Feb to May.

Yes, it is expensive - but when you live there you get alot back!
