Alaska Alpine Trip Suggestions
So it is time once again to start planning the big summer trip, even before winter is in full swing. And if I'm going anywhere, its going to be Alaska. Anytime between may and august, most likely late may-early june. Plan is to fly in and make base-camp somewhere near a whole bunch of first descents and alpine climbs, ranging from 1-3 days a piece. Whole trip time would be 2-3 weeks. Would be real similar to the trip that phil posted a few weeks ago:

I've never been to Alaska and its hard to narrow down the terrain to a small area. Even harder is the reluctance of damn near anyone to give away the routes they have been scoping. So I have no local beta. zilch. total gaper. Can anyone point me in the right direction, from areas to go to ski plane companies to use? any info would be appreciated.
