Just saw the trailer for Revenge of the Sith at starwars.com . Looks like it might not suck as bad as Phantom Menace or Clones. the CGI Yoda still blows, but there's a whole army of wookies, which restores my hope that there will be a scene where Chewbacca kicks the crap out of Jar Jar Binks.

It's good to see some truly evil characters in this one. That is what the TPM and AOTC were missing (apart from a lack of Jar Jar, children and a good director)
It's funny, after the first Star Wars movie, George Lucas swore off directing until the ends of the earth.
Then the prequels come along, he's sucky, and won't relinquish the reins.
Hmmmm.
I am a huge Star Wars fan, and am eagerly awaiting this film, good or bad. Say what you will, but I even liked the past two prequels (for what they were, anyway).
The onus is on George now though, there is a distinct feeling or emotion missing from the prequels that was in the first three films (sense of death or danger, I guess). He's gonna have to pull it off in this one, this one can't be a kid's movie like the last few were.

I still can't stand how poorly directed the final scenes of TPM were. The lightsaber fight with Darth Maul was *SO* stop-start. George finally managed to bring the emotion to boiling point when Qui-Gon died, and Obi-Wan screams "NO!", but then he cuts away to some boring space battle before finally returning to the climax.
I just don't understand why he did it himself, he has so many options! You only have to look at Alfonso Cuaron's Harry Potter movie to see what a massive difference a director can make.
