Indiana at Detroit tonight... Some weak, punkass shit... Fucking garbage.
the only professional sports I really can watch all the time now is baseball and football. While I appreciate hockey, I've never been a huge fan, and its not like they are even playing anyway.
You're playing a game in Detroit...what did you expect?
That was some of the craziest shit I've ever seen in my life. I'm sure there'll be multiple suspensions and many lawsuits.

Well, I didn't expect people in Detroit to be so careless with their beer ... And I definitely didn't expect to see some short mexican dude get dropped twice by two huge black dudes..... Ahahhaha, that was funny :DQuote:

P.S. I'm a Warriors fan... (wtf is wrong with me?), but thinking of switching my allegiances (sp?) to the Santa Clara Broncos...

that's the spirit
Perhaps I'm fanning the flames, but... You know what, I didn't care about the Giants one way or another until I moved to the Bay Area. Soon after I got so much shit for being a Dodger fan it was ridiculous. I couldn't believe how obnoxious some people where. You know what? It's just a fucking game. And the guys out there getting paid $10M a year really could give two shits about who they're playing that day. But for some reason some beer swilling moron in the stands thinks the guys who don't give two shits about him somehow give his life meaning. Are Dodger fans innocent? Not in the least. But it's all bullshit. It's a game and it's fun. Let's be rational, have a hot dog and a beer, enjoy the game, and end it there.Quote:

I'm sure you can find it on espn.com or any other sports/news site, that was pretty intense. pretty sad though when a few drunken ass fucks fuck it up for everyone else, especially the kids that were around. can't blame artest, when someone throws something out of the stands and hits him in the head is he REALLY not supposed to go after the guy? i loved seeing him deck that little mexican guy, jermain o's pop was even better. i was in a bit of a similar situation back when kemp was still with the sonics, i'm a huge sonics fan, they were in town playing the jazz and we kept getting harrased by some drunk jazz fans, it's pretty annoying but i know it's part of the territory when you're rooting against the home team, at the end of the game one of the guys spit on my wife and knocked her sonics hat off...needless to say i put down one of my better beat-downs :FIREdevil i beat the fuck out of that dude then got pepper sprayed by security, it was a fun night  at least the sonics won ;) artest looked pretty scared when wallace went after him, big ben is a bad man.
that was pretty wild. that last fat guy took a huge running punch.

This makes me miss hockey even more...Anyone else remember Tie Domi pulling a heckler into the penalty box and pummeling him?
An interesting point brought up on ESPN is think about the children there watching the game with their parents. That's gotta be pretty fucked up for them to watch.
-edit- they just showed the Domi incident on ESPN. The fan wanted to get at Domi and actually broke the glass trying to climb into the box. What an idiot.
sure suspend the players but I was watching ESPN's not top ten list about two weeks ago where there was a soccer team in Europe who's fans started a riot. The teams punishment was that they had to play the next 3 home games with the stands empty. I think this would be a very fitting solution to the Detroit fans who were absolute punk ass bitches last night. This doesn't excuse the players who SHOULD try to restrain themselves as professional athletes but it certainly should factor into the equation
That was the greatest thing I've seen in a loonnngggg lonngggggg time. The big fat guy in the tan shirt fucks jones up pretty good. :yourock:
I can see all the lawyers in Detroit salevating right now over this thing

Laseranimal, the players were TRYING to restrain themselves, the fight was between Artest and Wallace; Artest layed down on the table to keep it from getting any bigger, when a drunk fan throws a glass of beer and clocks him in the head what the fucks he supposed to do? If I'm out in public and someone throws a glass of beer at me I'm going to kick their ass, plain and simple. Classic case of a bunch of drunken idiots thinking just because they're "fans" they can get away with it because they're in the stands.
Is this what happens when you live in Detroit and have to ski Trash Mtn??
Aaahahahaha, you guys make me laugh.
Leave it to a few fans to expose Artest's prima-donna bitch ass. If it didn't happen in Detroit, it would have happened elsewhere.
So someone tossed a full beer at him. Boooo-fuckin'-hooooo! Worse things have happened.

Nicely written.
Ben Wallace is just as much to blame as Artest, O'Neal, Jones, and the dickhead fan who tossed the beer onto Artest in the first place. Every single one of them crossed "the line." I'm hoping the league will suspend anyone who threw a punch at another player or fan, starting with Big Ben. He needs to chill the fuck out.
Artest is gonna catch the most heat from the media, the leauge, and fans, 'cuz he's a punk. He always has been.
that was the best basketball game I've ever seen.
Ah, that whole thing was a fake, like pro wrasslin, in an attempt to draw some NHL fans to basketball.
That little dude in the Pistons jersey got clocked! I like that they showed it in slow motion. :the_finge
Totally. If O'Neal doesn't slip when he throws that punch, dude in the Pistons jersey is looking at some nice maxillofacial surgery (and O'Neal's looking at a jail sentence- which he might be anyway).
The NBA- it's Fannnnnn-tastic!
I'm paraphrasing this detroit fan that was interviewed "I followed my friend out onto the court and ron artest punched me... they should... have some restraint. Insane Clown Posse rules!!"
Ummm... last I checked, fans don't belong on the court, so I don't give a fuck what Artest did to him

Amen...agreed that if O'Neal doesn't slip on that bomb that dudes seriously damaged.
