So, is it gonna cool off in Utah or what?

It's November 10, and it's still raining in Park City and even all night at the Alta base (temp never got below 34 or so). So my question is, isn't this abnormal? Doesn't the snow usually start to fly below 9000 feet or so by this time of year, or will Utah be plagued by warm air and high freezing levels all early season?

I won't complain as long as it dumps when I'm there, but this seems really odd to me for it to be raining this late in the season, hell PCMR opens in like 3 days. So Utards, what's the deal with this, and what do longer range predictions look like for the coming weeks? The jones is gettin bad here, but I'm a big unsettled about the forecast.

Chill, you got 4 weeks and Alta has about 80" on the ground. The goods will be there when you get there, LCC has never disappointed me.

Dude, relax, in what world is November 10 late in the season? 3 or 4 years ago there was dirt at the Wildcat lift 2 days before Thanksgiving. 5 days later they had 100" on the ground. Seriously, just sit back and slow down a bit about the whole Utah thing. Start worrying a few days befor you go. Hell, don't worry at all, because it'll get you nowhere. Your angst isn't going to all of a sudden brew up a storm for Utah.

Considering I've seen rain in PC in February, I'd say no. That day it was raining all the way up LCC to the Alta lot, where it turned to (heavy but fun) snow.

I was at the Bird today and it hadn't rained there in the last 24 hrs so you can pretty much figure it hasn't rained at Alta either.
There was about 4 inches of new at the base this morning, however.
