Dave, myself and Trackhead got a big one today in the Uintas. Trackhead brought his sled as the road was supposed to be closed. It was, but the whole thing has been plowed and is in perfect condition. We drove right to the base of it. We climbed the ridge and skiied the main face, a bit looker's right of center. At least 2500 vert of fall line goodness with a couple of cliff bands to negotiate on the way down. The snow was pretty good in most places. We played around on the snowmobile and skiied a smaller line after this one. There's a lot of stuff back there to ski, we've got our eyes on a ton more stuff for the next time we go up. Trackhead is putting together a video of the day, but it might be awhile before it gets up as he's having some computer trouble. Here's a shot of the thing in the meantime. Baldy mountain I think it's called.
