Squaw's Opening Day Madness!!!
:fm: Holy Shit mang. Squaw was off the richter scale today. Gold Coast and Shirley were the only lifts open, but completely against any precedent Squaw has ever set, the Palisades were open and Mainline Pocket was too. Although everything was covered, it was only barely covered, and the lines and cliffs were on extra burly scale.
Guys were sending 60 footers into peppered landings. An extra narrow, 3 feet, extra long, about double the normal size, "Extra Chute" on the Palisades was done. Tons of bony pillow lines were done. All in all in it was a fucking rampage at Squaw.
My first run of the season, no joke, was up in the pocket. A 20 foot straightline, to ten foot high diving board that sent you into about a 30 foot drop into a mandatory stomp in a 10 foot wide chute, to straightline out the bottom. The second run was a S curving straightline about 4 feet wide, 70 feet long, that was littered with peppery rocks to a 30 to 40 foot exit going about 30 mph. The best part was seeing McConkey at lunch and him telling some of the other boys that some idiot was sending shit in the Pocket. Pointed out that he saw some tracks coming out of the banana line. I quietly informed him that I was that idiot. It was schwweet
The rest of the day was littered with pillow plopping, hairball lines in the Shirley Chute area. Getting started filming Lane Meyers film project. (Which is already filled with footage of drunk pros :D)

So, who got it first and what is happening, who is getting whom, and so on??
