Skiing in Utah

Hopefully whoever was able to play in the snow did so today. Up to 2 inches on the valley benches, and in the mountains a couple more. I went up to Park City Resort and played on some man-made patches which are now cushioned a bit. I went with 10 snowboarders and 1 skier from here at the dorm. We had 2 rails and a picnic table all set up in a row. Me and the skier also built a supergnar mega-kicker which we totally destroyed with gnarly sickness. FOX 13 had a camera crew up there getting some shots and interviews. It was really a whole lot of fun. Just seeing the beaming joy on everyone's faces playing on a few sketchy obstacles with shitty snow was uplifting. If you want to see what I'm talking about check out the 10:00 FOX News. I photosluted for the camera by throwing double spread eagles and backscratchers, hopefully I make the cut and get famous all over Utah. "HAY MAAW! AIME GUN BE OWN TEA VEA!"

edit - I ahve been informed that the news is on at 9. not 10. 9.

OK, maybe not the best idea to bump my idiocy to the top of the board, but this is funny. So I'm sitting there watching FOX news at 9, thinking of how bad of a news hour it is. I'm just hoping the snow/snowriding story comes on soon cause I can't sit through this shit. Then I remember I told my girlfriend I would call her when they were starting it so she would see the segment. So I'm running around in my room, feeling the pockets of discarded clothing, flinging various articles around looking for the phone, but I still can't find it. I return to the living room and they are starting the intro, "Utah skiers and snowboarders couldn't be happier today as snow fell bla bla bla." I'm like oh shit, here it is gotta find the phone NOW! So I run to my room, can't find it, turn around to run back down the hall to the idiotbox as I hear the screams. "AOHHHhhhh YEahAH DUDE!" I round the corner and all I see is the interview part. My moment of stardom slipped by like that; my hopes and dreams of seeing myself on FOX 13 were foiled. A few friends said they saw it (double spread eagle), and I guess that's all that matters. Sorry about my freakout last night, RedBaron. I was way stoned and misinterpreted your post. Karma is very real people, watch out!
