I'm thisclose to booking a trip for me and the kiddos for the end of next week (Nov. 5-8), they have fall break and i"m going crazy. Anyway, it's between CA-fly into Reno and SLC. We can handle blue runs pretty well. Which location would provide the most skiing? I know Kirkwood is open on weekends and Brighton is open. Help, please?
Bump for help. I at least need a list of resorts that will be for sure open next weekend.
I know Mammoth and Kirkwood will be open this weekend. Not sure about Brighton. Anyone?

If you don't mind the 3 hour drive from Reno (or the 5 hour drive from LA), I would vote for Mammoth. They've got 100% open around Main Lodge, so there's plenty of fun cruising terrain there.
Trigger pulled. :fm: Me and the kiddos are heading to SLC. W00t! SO now the dumbass questions start. Like where are discount tickets to be had? Are rentals at the resort fair priced? So many questions, so little time!
