Cool stuff, I didn't realize there were so many entrants. The huge diesel trucks are cool.
It is a cool rally, but call it something other then Dakar, unless they are driving across the Atlantic to finish in Dakar. It is just not the same rally anymore.
They stopped calling it the Paris-Dakar Rally when they no longer began in Paris.

No, not the guy...He had broken his back, maybe in the Dakar, and showed up on the freeride circuit. Took second at kw to garbiel's first that year.

It's on and it's my favorite since I was a kid.
As I get older, I really only care about the bikes and the old cars.
I couldn't find the longer highlights on their YouTube channel. I did find them on Peacock, but it appears that version of the show lands a day later.
