It's a good thing that skiing season is still a few months off for me. I managed to fack up my bad ankle stepping wrong in a rut at a corn maze.

heal up fast, and don't run thru cornfields 1.5 months before ski season! :)
Now you tell me! Thanks.Quote:

Amaizing gracelessness would be the correct phrase, I believe.
Sounds like something I'd do....
I just went through the same shit a while back. Ankle STILL isn't 100%, it's unbelievable how long it's taking to heal. Ice and elevate amigo! Here's my thread, lots of good advice....

heh. Corn Maze. I feel your pain.....I too have suffered injury because of a corn field.....but we were stealing the corn, so I guess I kind of had it coming.
Good luck.
Gimped my ankle badly 11 weeks ago, today swellings gone and most of the mobility's back. Take care of it now (ice/elevation); I found a cooler full of ice and water yielded the best results. Your milage may vary. What you do in the first 72 hours after injury has a major effect in the overall time to heal.

Last season was almost wiped out, luckily I got to ski a few times. Whoever said that the best support was a ski boot wasn't kidding. On a related note, it is feeling better!
