I should have thought of this years ago...

I read that Slashdot article. A former co-worker moved back to India a few months ago with the hope of starting something over there. If I can get enough work together to go independent, I'm going to do it.

A hiring manager (not where I am) told me the other day "all the contract work is going to India." Yikes.

My last project I did.....it was going to be a big pain in the ass project, so I outsourced it to a collegue, then marked his price up by 25% and kept the markup. Everyone came out happy. Hehe :D
