Help with pricing ski equipment.

What is the general rule for pricing ski equipment, half retail and subtract $?? per year or something like that.

In $US what would be a good selling price for the following items;

1.) 03/04 Volkl V-Pro 180cm (the grey ones with the chicks on them), with Rossi Axial 120 bindings. Used 20 days, some top sheet scratches, and two or three base repair jobs - fixed up almost perfectly. This set up new would cost $AUD1,300 although V-Pro's are almost impossible to get so may go for more.

What would you sell the skis/bindings for as a package, what would you sell the skis for separately and the bindings separately.

2.) 04/05 Volkl 724 EXP's 177cm, with Marker 1200 motion bindings. Used 5 days max, near perfect condition on bases and top sheet. This is a $AUD1,400 package new in Australia.

So hit me with your, "If I was selling this equipment, I would be happy to get $X" amount.

General rule: maggot/bro price= 1/2 Retail (store price, not MSRP) -10% per year - $ Damage beyond normal wear and tear + $ for hard to come by item. Ebay or sucker prices may be higher, maybe 2/3 retail and -5% per year.

Package deals for binders and ski (-$20-40 if purchased together depending on gear).

So for example

YOUR 03/04 V-Pro 180 w/rossi 120's. 1300/2=750. 750-75=675. 675-3 base repairs + hard to find in Aus - package deal = $600 (I hope that's Aus $$)

Realisticaly 03/04 V-Pro 180 w/rossi 120's new in the US proably goes for ~$650-750. There's a big difference between MSRP and store prices, keep that in mind.
