back to life...back to reality
damn, reality sucks. well i mean my life sucks.
after an epic 10 months of mainly ridding my ass off and flowing through whatever i find myself back in the real world. since i got back from South America (1 month ago) today is my first day off. damn...
i have been cutting ski trails on mt-tremblant. talk about a dream job. we aren't cutting new ones (officially) but only maintaining the parts of the mountain where the machines can't go (ie. steep shit, glades etc...) Since i started this work a month ago in rained one day. we have had the perfect weather. Ok its not the rockies, its the laurentians but they are nice. these tight little mountains put up real nice automn colors for the show.
each morning we ride the truck up the mountain up and above the morning mist and light a big one before work. I always wanted and office with a view. My numerous task descriptions include 4-wheeling, offroading, 2 stroke engine mechanics, running after deer and well cutting shit... The average rate goes for at leat 3 big ones before hitting the trails. common, this is not the job where i work my brain the most....and doing this job high actually makes it interesting....but anyway. its a good way to get in shape, in the last 4 weeks we covered 95 acres of incline uphill most of time with a heavy ass blade-saw. fun job. excellent pay. i haven't a place to crash yet. i have been crashing in my tent under my friend's balcony. it sorta keeps me on that trip feel...its hard as hell to convince a chick to come back to your place....
Its funny how when you go back to the city you realize how your priorites are screwed. i do not own shoes. i have 5 pairs of ski boots, 3 of hicking and a set of slippers. i live in a tent and drive a 300zx...my car is bigger then my house !
anyway the buzz has started to fall ,reality is settling in The dope is killing my short term memory, it helps with the pain. I have no idea how i could fit in a regular lifestyle and live a normal way. but whatever, things will settle in...
at this rate i will be out of debt soon. so whats up ? anybody want to go ride ? i am thinking north-west as in the north west of BC from Smithers to Prince Rupert throw in a bella coola in that...i don't know i am bored and disconected from reality.
anyway, annual fall depression period is kicking in.
