is it good to SIN?
last year's machete sin (115-81-104) can be had for very cheap right abouts now. reviews by ski mags are generally quite positive, but i was wondering if any maggots have been on this stick. also, it is heavy as hell? i used to ski powerkarves a long time ago and found those about as heavy as i could manage. other issue is length as they come in 175 and 185 but i'd normally ski a 180 (5'10" 165lbs), if you have skied it, can you mention length and your size.

The dogs were all on them two years ago. Older guys that ski every day, good skiers but not super aggressive ,were given a butch by the local rep. They all liked them, but they don't last very long. They all skied them short.

no too bad for weight, but are still Volants.
bend in the tips a bit
red "sidewalls" chip easy, but that is just cosmetic.
Good deal www.rei.com (outlet too?)
or
www.sierratradingpost.com
(not sure if they have some still)

yeah, and you can get an extra 20% off that as well at rei outlet.

I tele'd them the last couple of seasons. I liked 'em though they do have a speed limit (Of course this was made more noticeable since I was skiing alpine on Iggies). But they are a fun ski and rail pretty good. Good ski for non-deep days. Like others said, not the most durable ski ever made. Mine lasted 2 seasons then the tails delammed and I got a brand new pair. Want 'em? I'll give 'em to you cheap.
