Forza Motorsports 3

Any other racing geeks pick this up today.

I got hooked on Forza 2 about a year go and would never have imagined myself getting a video game the day it came out but I had to swing by Gamestop on the way home from work today.

I only got a few races in this evening, I started a career right from the beginning so I havent tried any arcade modes.

So far the graphics blow the old one away. driving characteristics are much more realistic. I have never been a fan of first person views however its amazing in forza 3. I cant comment too much on car selection as I am still racing E class cars.

I will say I was a little disappointed to be racing the same courses as forza 2, but Im sure that will change as I get further through the game.

All racing games from now until forever are officially inferior to RaceDriver: Grid.

Picked it up today about noon, put in a solid 9 hours of gameplay, lol. It's definitely an improvement from FM2, but not mindblowing. The graphics are good, the cars are fun, the career is a bit confusing and annoying. Online modes suck (no room search, just private rooms and matchmaking). But, I'm a Forza junkie and I definitely enjoy it and look forward to putting many many hours in.

Never touched a Forza game, but I'm very familiar with the GT series on PS. I now have a xbox, how do they compare?

I remember being blown away with Forza 1. I can't imagine how nice F 3 must be! I owned the Xbox for Halo 2 and Forza, and I would buy 360 just for F 3 since I get that muich entertainment out of it... However skiing does offer too much entertainment to divert any funds.
