What did you think?
You already know I despise Bush's policies, but I never miss a chance to hear what he or those who support him have to say. I guess I am a masochist(sp?). But I wonder who else follows both sides of the debate, and then forms an opinion.

1) No, I already know enough about Bush to know that listening to him speak rots your brain.
3) Yes. Google news, NPR, NY Times, Wall Street Journal ...etc

2. Yes. I try to give Bush the benefit of the doubt, but he just seems to appear less intelligent and more like a stubborn 4 year old every time he opens his mouth.
3. No. You have a choice of corporate whores or crazy bloggers. I doubt the credibility of both.

2) it actually did. I went in knowing that I'll vote for Kerry, but Bush surprised me - I found his saying the same thing over and over quite effective. I think it will go over well with folksy, aw-shucks, god-fearing/loving undecided voters. We'll see how the other debates play out. I would have liked Kerry to have gone in punching a little more. I wish he'd had a little Michael Moore in him or maybe at his feet whispering what to say (although I know that would come across as disrespectful to the President and presidency, it would still be great to see Bush squirm with facts and accusations thrown at him).
3) I was online within minutes: cnn, pbs, abc, cbs, msnbc and yes, fox - all the while changing around to different tv channels to see what the talking heads had to say. Oh, and I read here and one other bb first, before going to the news sites. First phone call when the debate ended was to my father to see what he thought.
4) I like my snow just a little more dense - I'm a Sierra girl at the core.

yes. My opinion of the Bush's level of stupidity changed. Before it I thought he was at least semi-coherent. I now place him at the illiterate level.

Bush made a blathering fool of himself. I thought Kerry (finally) went on the offensive enough. I don't actually have time to be posting here...

yes, i watched the debate. and because this is america i even had 4 different telemarketers call during it. jerks.
yes, it affected my opinions. mostly made what i was thinking, more resolute though. and i don't think Bush's tactic of repeatedly bringing up Kerry's "wavering" opinion was good at all, i'm glad i wasn't the only one who noticed and felt he was just avoiding the real questions.
i try to, i had this one professor who opened us up to alot of american lies and alternate news sources, but admitedly don't watch/read as much news as i should, though i think most of it sucks anyway (aka is quite skewed), but hopefully the debates will help.
i can't say anyone has ever said to me, "this here is 4% density snow and this over here is 10% density snow" but i know i like it when the snow here in UT is a little denser than usual, which i'm sure is still lighter than most places. i just don't like sinking in enough to hit yesterday's tracks. ;)

2) Still haven't made a decision because I think both are fools and weak canidates. After the debate, the more coherent and understandable one has taken a slight lead.
3) Yes, but the media sucks. Especially the stuff on TV.

Seriously, though, I realize I'm biased, but I can't see how Bush's performance can be seen as anything short of terrible. OK, I know he's not a great speaker, but he performed terribly. Anyone remember the SNL sketch with Martin Short as Nathan Thurm the slimy attorney? That's kind of how Bush came across to me. And how many times did he say "it's hard work."
I will say about Kerry:
- looks like he got one of hs $1,000 haircuts for the debate, and maybe botox, too.
- He tried a little too hard to squeeze his Vietnam experience in at any opportunity.
Otherwise he came across as pretty damn articulate.

No, I was shooting a fully automatic HB5 and a shoot/don't shoot simulator as part of a 10 week Citizens Police Academy I am attending. It was fun, but I still do not like guns.
Debate is a euphemism, right? How do they dare call such a highly negotiated and scripted bunch of sound bites a debate. BULLSHIT!

I don't worship either pagan god - donkey or elephant. I typically vote for the best person for the job and, personally, I don't really care for either presidential candidate. But, I have a much better idea of who might get my vote on November 7 after reading this article. And still, if ever there was a classic lesser-of-two-evils choice, this one is it.

Primarily NPR with a smatering of other news sources.
