Can't tell you how many times I've heard a song and thought, "hey...this would make a killer segment in a ski flick."
Off the top of my dome:

Rock 'n Roll is Dead - by Lenard Kravitz
Rammstein - Engel
edit: it would have to be in a big mountain scene... That whistling in the beginning is just plain awesome
fly .... sugar ray [would be cool for an air sequence] :D
jus kiddin all
angel ... hendrix [seriously cool for an air segment]
waterfall .... hendrix again from Singles soundtrack [cool pow segment song]
Exhausted by Joseph Arthur. I see it as a big-mountain heli segment.
Sick and ashamed and happy (and when I get a heli and a big mountain and make a movie, this song will be in it),
d.
Cannonball-Breeders
Always thought A mix of Brubeck's Rondo a la Turk and then some new school guitar that complemented it would be cool kind of a fade from some B&W shots skiing pow to some more aggresive, lines shot in color would be a cool intro.
Also would like to see, Robert Rodriguez do a segment or a whole ski film's music. Check out the extras on Kill Bill disc 2, good stuff, it's a remake of the older flamenco(not sure if that's correct) music that was used in the Eastwood spagetti westerns.
Radiohead, Exit Music, from Kid A. Probly have to be shortened, but would be a cool intro to a segment, getting geared up, getting to the destination, some slow pow shots.
Reverand Horton Heat, Baddest of the Bad, this has a Morrison segment written all over it, good shit. Sue Jack Daniels. nuff said.
Tool, can't remember the name of the saong, the one with "if I'm the fucking man then your the man as well"

I can picture and hear this:
Eerie and quiet, shot in black and white, with a grainy look, and in low contrast. Skier's head disappears and reappears beneath a washing white current (it's a deep day, maybe 4' of fresh).
Fade in: the pulsing shimmer of Just Want to See His Face, by the Stones.
