Damn
so i just put the an e13 bashguard on my bike. i thought it would give me more ground clearance, but its barely any smaller than the big ring its replacing. sucks. i mean its cool and all, but more clearance was what i was shootin for. yall think its worth it to send it back (paying for shipping sucks) for a smaller one?
-
It is kinda big but you will see that it slides and moves over obstacles very nicely (instead of digging in like a chain ring). I wouldn't change mine for anything. Also remeber that it is helping keep your chain on as well.

The smaller one is going to increase your ground clearance by a fraction at best. Probably not enough to notice.
Like Mr. AG said, the thing slides over rocks like butter. The only way I can tell that it's doing its job is the scars that rocks have left on it. I rarely feel anything.

thanks, im thinkin ill stick with it. dont wanna mess with around anymore, just forget it and play. but i got one more gripe to add to the DAMN file. just got my second flat in 2 days. checked the tire and rim and nothing wrong with em (as far as i can tell). the punctures in the tubes are all the way through the tube, so i dont know what could punch all the way through the tube two days in a row and not be visible. any ideas?

Whats up, long time reader first time poster.... Anyways, might be a pinch flat. How much air you puttin in them bad boys? too much? too little? Or you just have some crappy tubes. DH or Freeride tubes are the way to go.

hmmm, i think that might be it. i put the tube on the rim and it looks like it mighta pinched on the rim. guess im gonna hafta put a bit more air in and see how it goes... after i buy more tubes that is
