I just did squats last night. I stayed light because of a sore hip, but my legs are definitely tight this morning.
Did 2 sets Monday. Almost didn't get out of bed Tuesday.
I did one legged squats, went too low and fell on my ass. I think more balance training is required!
Ahhhh...... few days later and they're back to normal! Damn Mrs. Roo, one leg squats, you're obviously more talented than I am.

I'd say squats and lunges are way harder than the leg press (you can just use a lot more weight on the press) - but I do all of the above in a leg workout. Or did until I busted by knee.... and now I'm doing straight leg raises until I see the doc again on Monday.Quote:

i have been doing this kick ass squat for a while now, got it from my pt while i was doing the athlete training...and i have never been so sore in my life as i was the next day.

I always got a good workout from back leg extensions. They make my ass rock hard. At least that's what the girls said in the gym. :D
Squats, walking lunges, extensions.........anything is better than nothing :)

I can relate big time. Worked out yesterday doin supersets of 1 minute hard jumping rope right into 415lb double leg presses for 3 sets. Capped it all off with 4 sets of squats and an hour of Squash. I will be strong like bull for the Utah Mini. ;)
