Anyone every view this video? Is it worth the $20 or is it better to continue learning by gaping and then attempting my own spasmatic style? Since I purchased twins I'm obsessed with anything related to the park...I can ski down anything, it's the going up part that seems more complicated.
Any other suggestions for learning to do it right?

How desperate and knowledge hungry are you? Shit, it must be worth something. Probably not the revolution of twin-tip skills, otherwise we probably would have known it existed already. But if you're really interested, I would surely get it. Hell, I have bought most of the instructional videos I could find when I could scrounge up the dough, and if they provide even mediocre insight, I consider them a worthy investment.
Freeze has some nice tips each month. Freeze is definitely the Powder of the park world. A lot of their tips are pretty advanced though: "540 onto a rail," "backflipping a hip jump", etc. There is usually an issue each year with tips and tricks for all skill levels though with a few pro's. I have my issue from last year I could send you if you want me to copy the pages and mail them to you. PM me for details.
Like I said, it's all in how desperate for knowledge you are.
Stoke on man. I'm a gaper in the park (and these guys will tell you that's a SEVERE understatement), but it's surely a hell of a lot of fun trying to get better at it. Good luck. :)
Edit: since you mentioned that you have already looked around Newschoolers, I think it might be safe to say you know about FREEZE already. But I think it's reasonable advice, so I'll leave it in here just in case you don't know about it. Cheers.

Seriously though, learning how to do shizz in the park requires equal measures of patience, practice, and balls. Just keep at it and you'll get it. And if you're a good skiier to begin with, it'll be that much easier.
Last season, I decided to take learning how to ride the park seriously(I'm normally a freeride boarder who likes pow, trees, drops, hiking for the goods, and going fast) and learn how to hit boxes and park kickers. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be and a whole lot of fun too.
By the end of the season, I was hitting larger(30 foot table) step-downs:

Now I gotta learn how to do flippy-spinny stuff.
The nice thing about park jumps, if they're designed well, is that the takeoff and the landing angles are matched so you have a smooth, no-impact landing. Helps you build your confidence quickly.

boarderline - snowboarding is not in my future, ive invested too much in skiing. Looks like those 'flippy spinny things' are this year's tricks. I will be spending much more time in the park and agree that is the best way to learn...

Is that a jizz rag hanging out behind you? As long as you've got the requisite gorilla steeze to go along with it, you don't really need anything else.

That rag shit seemed to be the steeze at alpine meadows last season, but by the time i realized, it was too late for me to catch on. :(
If that's what you call "gaping" then I am in some serious SERIOUS shit... In riding pipe on about 3 different trips, I have yet to boost over the lip. :( You look like you are on your way to me, man...
Then again my opinion is pretty near to worthless... ;)
