Fish of a lifetime. TR

So there I was this morning, catching some nice bows like this;

when I look down at the rocks below where I'm casting from and see this brute crusing the rocks below; a couple of cast later and he's all but fillets for the skillet. 30 inches of fine catfish. I'm sure this is the biggest cat I'll ever catch on a fly rod.

I did catch a large catfish years ago in Texas on my 6wt once, but I cheated. I used a bare hook and a hotdog, so I wasn't really "fly fishing". I just wanted to fight the fish on my fly gear. It was a pretty awesome fight though.
