I really shouldn't do this, but I'm interested in the Linkens. Are they tough to set up correctly? I've heard scary words dropped like 'preload.' What's up wit dat?
-
can you write me with some info on that BB please?

Can you post a picture of the liners?

The linkens are very solid. super easy to mount, especially if you have a rottefella jig. the holes are the same as the supercarve, so you just drill in those holes. If you dont have a jig it may be more difficult, but no more so than a g3 or cobra. As for the feel, they are not as snappy as a cable binding with a spring. they are, however, very easy to adjust. you can adjust forward preload very easily, literally with the flip of a little lever and slide the heal piece forward of back to get more or less forward pressure. As i said above this is a very rigid binding, it allows you to really power the edges of a ski. you do have to be sure you are weighting the ski correctly otherwise it is easy to have a ski get away from you. i skied them on a big ski, monster 103's and really liked the control.
i will try to post a pic of the liners, although they are the standard T-race stock liner in a scarpa sz 8, never even had a foot in them.

i was thinking of just using the q towers if it had them and getting a new fit kit, i would put it on a bonneville. I'm more interested in the superloops though, if they are the newwer type and you would be willing to separate them from the skis.

think the superloops are sold along with BB, everything else still available. let me know if you want the towers, they are in great shape. email me @greghillson@yahoo.com
