I can do barspins!!!

Nailed it yesterday - it's all about sack it up and try it, it's easy! I mean not from the jump, but on the ground - doing kinda manual, and then throw your bar, spin it 360, catch it and ride away.

But I've got a problem with the last point - riding away. I thought my rear cables (hayes mech and derailer) are long enough... and they are - i can barspin easily... but i like to adjust my rear break to be very sensitive, with extra-short free travel... and it almost blocks my rear wheel after barspin... will longer cables help me?
