You mean avi awareness for 3rd graders? That was fun to teach.
Map of local paths, videos, some good stories, sugar + flower + oatmeal + other powered kind of stuff 'build your own avalanche' to demonstrate layering and slope angles.

Contact ASAP (www.alpinesafety.org), they started out teaching school age children basic alpine safety skills in the classroom, they have an established curriculum for that particular audience.
