I have a Palmer Crown snowboard for sale, with AMP5 bindings, and need to know what size I should buy next time. I'm 6'0" and 210lbs
The board is barely scuffed, in great condition and is a 161cm.
Should I get a floater and/or a longer board next time?

Consider a revolutionary product being talked about heavily on the innerwebz. Similar in style to a split board, only these stay split. You'll find them listed under "skis" in most ski shops and they include a special binding which is slightly more elaborate than the ratcheting strap you've grown accustomed to. At your size, consider starting with the same length, as more longer will just result in more friction with the snow and serve to slow you down and bump into more folks in crowded lift lines. Pick a pair that balances well on your shoulder (a mind bogglingly brilliant way of transporting your new toy). To this end you may want to combine the requisite stroll around said shop trying on boots with this shoulder test. Make a few laps with each perspective product hefted on high to see how it affects your balance and gait.
