I suck at computers. I'm looking for your basic printer for desktop publishing, light graphics, and photo printing. CNET seems to think it's a pretty good deal. check it!
Is there a downside? Anything else you recomend? What's the next level of upgrade?

Foggy I have last years Canon i950 and it rocks, especially for photo quality digital camera prints. I really don't use it for anything else since I hung on to my older HP ink jet for regular printing to save ink for the photos.
if you are looking for cheap, i just set up my HP PSC 1315. It is a combo printer/flatbed scan/copier. Prints fast and color seems good, though i havent printed any photos yet. $100 at Costco, i just couldnt say no.
