Got my S1 today and it the box wasn't sealed, and has for sure been out of it's packaging. It looks like everything is there - I think-. Bottom line I have the S1 and case but don't have the owners manual but have found that on Ortovox's web site. Could I be missing anything else? I don't know anybody with this unit, so no one to compare notes with. Maybe Ortovox has poor packaging or I got somebody's return. Any wisdom?
I'm not sure the manual online is the most current one. Contact below to get copies of the most recent one. And, double check what software version you are running.

Okay I'll check that first, otherwise I may send it back, thankfully that is an option without any troubles.
First things first. Open the beacon all the way & then turn it on. Make sure it says it has firmware revision two as it boots up. If not, send it back ASAP. At the moment, getting a rev 1 firmware beacon updated is a PITA.
