I've done a pretty thorough search, here and elsewhere, and can't fine much information on these skis.
Does anyone have any info? Specifically what do they weigh and how does the camber/ rocker compare to that on the LL2s. I understand the rocker is less severe (4 degrees as opposed to 8 on the LL2), is it otherwise the same - ie is the same portion of tip and tail rockered?

I don't think the tail is rockered on the Live Lifes. Only on the Live Life 2s...
...also the website says the LLs have a 'half-rockered tip' whereas the LL2s use the 'three stage rocker'.
What this all means I just don't know. They do have some pics up on their blog, which might give you an idea.

There definitely seems to be alot of contrasting information out there. Think I'll pull the trigger and hope for the best ...
I have the 07/08 life lifes with the tree graphic and blue bases they are not rockered at all and are the exact same dimension as the live life 2. The flex on these is actually pretty stiff and they pretty much rock on any thing you can think of, but for super deep pow def want to get the rockered LL2
But I do believe the 08/09 Live Life do have a slight tip rocker. You could always email surface to find out exactly
I own these skis and still dont quite understand what they are...
The tip is half rockered (early rise 4 degrees), std camber under foot, and the tail is kind of a mystery. The tail isn't traditional for a twin. It actually is rockered slightly, but not as severe as the tip. Slight rocker on an almost traditional tail basically = twin tip as far as functionality is concerned... if this makes sense. Although the contact point for the tail is pretty far forward (about 35cm from the end) Kind of a hybrid design. Also, I was suprised how stiff they actually are.
LL2's has rockered tip and tail and flat under foot (no camber), I think, but I could be wrong, and they're softer flex.
The Live Life's have the traditional rocker where the LL2's have an abrupt rocker, ie it's an 8 degree angle at the rocker point rather than a gradual rise. I have the LL2's and it's a medium flex ski, which is softer than the LL's. Other than that I think it's the same ski. Check with seanpistol, he's a rep for Surface so should have the answer.
LL2 are flat underfoot with an abrupt rocker in the tip and tail.
LL1 (This years at least) have an early rise tip/camber underfoot.
This is, I think (still curious about the tail ...), exactly what I'm looking for, something to fill the gap between my Tahoes and Praxis Pows. The LLs sound like just the ticket.Quote:
