The boys from Nottingham came over for a couple of days before heading down to the Megavalanche and we had a wicked day riding these descents.

What is the riding over your way like TeleAL? I came over there to watch the World Cup a couple of summers ago and it looked pretty good.

Is the Coupe d'Europe (see www.avalanchecup.com) in the Valais near you at all?

Leysin hosted the World Cup a few times, but not this year.

Hey Ripz, what about G3? From Cabane to Reusch could be a good run. Is there anything going on there?

Biking and Tele-ing go together and make the legs big and strong.

wrong. it could be an EXCELLENT run. but i'd like to get some first hand advice before risk wasting a day there. i'm concerned about that first pitch (the gooood part for skiing). it's mighty steep for a bike.

It is the mighty steep for a ski piste too. I maintain that is the steepest piste anywhere I have skied.

I have been tortured on it with LostInTheTrees one icy shitty day. Brutal. Not sure he ever forgave me for it.

Just another reason to ski the off piste.

I'll keep my ears open about it and let you know.
