Preliminary planning for wknd of Aug 14 but could also look at other wknds. So far have one or two others (non mags) interested.
Usually do the Crest to the Rainbow as a shuttle but might even look at loopin' it if anybody would be down. Camp one nite at super secret camp hole and head back to Den next day.
The crest trail is definately on my list. I'd be intereseted in a trip like that. I don't really have a preference on those dates.
on my list too, but August is booked for me. We should definitely do a local ride sometime soon with the Denver area riders.
I could be up for aug 14-15.
Monarch is my favorite ride. It's the best ride EVER. By loop it you don't mean doing the road climb, do you? Yuck.
I'm already riding it Aug 20 - day trip!
