PNW: Central OR & WA Cascades Snow Conditions/Forecast/Discussion/Data

Not the most ripper of all areas, but there's probably some mags that ski in the central Cascades. Can we use this as a place to dump info?

Any good sites for doing your own personal forecasting/conditions check?

i dont think the OR and WA cascades even compare.

oregon is mellow
wasingtion is gnarl

that being said, there are a few worthy spots in oregon. nothing special, but some good skiing to be had for sure.

I guess I meant the Central Cascades (Bachelor/Hood/Rainier/Adams...).

Compared to the North Cascades...well, I find it hard to compare the two areas.

I agree, depending on where we are talking about in WA (see above post).

I'm in the "heart of the Willamette Valley". South of PDX and north of Eugene. In other words, Corvallis. Lots of backcountry in the Santiam and Willamette Pass areas during the heavy winter, then hit the volcanoes in late winter and spring. I usually ski the volcanoes south of Rainier to Lassen/Shasta.
