DUDE! Akpm, where did you find your scores? In the mail, or are they posted elsewhere? P.S. Congrats.
I'd like to think you spelled the thread name wrong on purpose...but somehow I doubt it.
AB or BC?
3 on English lit. Hopefully that's enough to place out because English as a class sucks a lot...
thats not very niceQuote:

What's not nice? My score, or my distaste for English?
I think I'd have to agree with him. English blows.
3 Gets you credits right as far as I knowQuote:

POTD, in my opinion... :cool:Quote:

A 3 wont get you out of a class. Usually a 4 or 5 does it, but at depends on the school and department. Sometimes only a 5 does.
I don't see you posting in Spanish or Mandarin Chinese, so English can't blow all that much.Quote:

Back in the day I got a 4 on AP calc; and a 5 in AP art. Maybe I get brownie points for diversity?
Puedo charlar en español, pero tengo miedo que los más no me entenderán. ¡Y todavía odio la ingles!
Ahora, traduzca, alguien, por favor.
P.S. You just burst my bubble, CD. That was definitely NOT POTD material. :(
Not my fault, you should have studied harder. Besides, freshman english is a class you shouldn't skip. Most likely you will have to write term papers throughout college and probably be writing documents when you get out, no matter what your profession. The writing advice I got in freshman english class has been invaluable. And most of the time there are different first year seminars to take, anything from Hemingway to Euripides. I'm sure you can find something that interests you.Quote:

Everyone knows the world is going to convert to Spanglish it's only a matter of time. For example:Quote:

Thiso threado sucko sobado! Arribba!
CantDog with the first use of "Euripides". Nice action.
i used floasam and jetsam earlier today, only to find it was the second time it was used. however it was from a news article that was cut and pasted. so does that count or not. i mean fuck, i could copy and paste the whole dictionary if those count.
i want Flotsam and jetsam. and if i get it does it count for +2?
The judges say...you get them! And it's two words, even though they're usually used together.
Although I didn't use some word the other day because it came up in some long-ass piece mr_g pasted in. I wish I could remember what it was and take credit for it, but what the hell...
