Utah Snow and Avalanche Workshop - Nov. 1, 2008

Found a thread on teletips about the 1st annual Utah Snow and Avalanche Workshop at The Depot in SLC. The seminar is $25, and is for professionals and recreational backcountry users. Focus will be on avalanche hazard evaluation, forecasting and mitigation, beacon technology and rescue.

Jim Conway (Sarge) - lead guide for TGR - will be discussing TGR's avalanche safety program. Sarge is a risk management consultant for high level military programs such as the Top Gun school.
