Specialized S-Works HT w/fork. Single Speed?
1993 Specialized S-Works Steel
19" Hardtail Frame
??? Single Speed Anyone ???
I purchased this frameset new in 1993 and - I'm embarrassed to say - I've only put 517 miles on it. (Yes, I put a computer on it day one.) I had the bike built-up with XTR, a full SRP titanium kit, Synchros titanium seatpost, etc. and it weighed less than 25 pounds with bottle cages, tool bag . . . ready to ride! Not bad for an eleven year old bike.
For the few miles it has it should be perfect but, alas, it is not. I crashed coming down Mill-D and heard a wonderful ringing in my ears . . . only to see a ding in the top tube. (Expletive deleted.) And it has some scratches, to be sure; though none on the chain stay - I had it well protected. Most importantly, it's straight and the ride quality is intact. I put an American flag sticker over the booger on the top tube.
Also installed when new, is the Future Shock FSX fork; it is a "fully tunable air/oil suspension fork" - think Mag21. I am including the shock pump required for adjusting air pressure. I also have, and will include, a new rebuild kit for the fork.
You can't quite tell from the photos, but the color fades from burgundy to purple - very nice in the sun. Finally, I will include a titanium seatpost binder bolt.

I'd like to get $150, but I might be dreaming. Make me an offer.
