First Fish

Holy shit balls. My almost four year old is a natural. His first cast and he nails a 12 inch Brown. I threw it out there and he starts yelling, "I got one, I got one". I am so flabbergasted at this point I drop everything and grab the camera. He reels the thing with the quickness and I grab it and pull the fly out of his mouth. It's a feisty little bugger so he doesn't want to hold it but I get a shot of him and his first trout. It was caught on a spin rod with a bubble and a #18 parachute adams.

sweet man. so cool. If he's got the love for it, that'll be a life long memory. I still have this fishing dictionary my dad gave me when I was maybe 10 yrs old with his message in it. One of my most precious items.
