A little mountain lake TR:

Went up to a notorious mountain lake spot not too far away this past weekend. Got a late start and didn't have much time to fish, but I got one of them fast growing cutthroats that the lake is known for. 17 in. 2+pound 4 year olds in there now. Pretty good growth rate for a sterile looking mountain lake!

Thats all. Those things should be ridiculous next year! A few other lakes I know of that are growing some nice trout these days. I'll have to check one or two more out soon as winter is definetly coming fast!

Way to bring in the quality TRs, TC. I was thinking about riding up to ML to see if I can scare any trout to death by splashing around a bunch some time this week.

Hell yeah. I want to do the bike and fish thing this week too if possible. This lake is probably my best bet now, along with "ML" The reason being that I am waiting for a new frame right now and only have my clunker old bike circa 1995 to rally. Some nice brookies up in ML. I slayed a few in there back in the early summer. Send me a message if you feel like heading up there on Thursday maybe.
