Where can I try on dynafit boots in the Reno/Tahoe area this summer fall? Anyone know of some good shops that still have some around? I can't seem to locate a shop that still has some in stock and I'd like to try on a few pair to see how the fit is before buying them.
Don't know, but if you come down to the Bay Area, Marmot in Berkeley has them.
Last The Backcountry in Truckee had the best selection. Reno Mountain Sports also was pretty good. Sports Ltd in South Lake Tahoe has Scarpa and Garmot boots, but no Dynafit.
There's no way a 12-DIN Dynafit (if it even exists) will hold in a 220-lb Stroupasourasss. Just accept the fact that you're stuck with Dukes and would not climb faster even with a lighter setup. :D:D
Not if I jump into a pile of soup on Quandary again:) But I'm willing to give it a shot if I can find some.
