Looking for a replacement Rando boot for my wife. She is very strong, and her Scarpa Denali's aren't making the cut. She has a really small foot, about a 6.
Can anyone recommend a more downhill performance oriented woman's Rando boot? I know they have come a long ways in the past couple of years.
new Black Diamond Factor/Method/Shiva. Shiva is the women's model, but if the Denalis are too soft, maybe step up to the Method (110 flex) or factor (130 flex). IMO those numbers are a bit inflated, but the factors are quite stiff, and ski really well.
I got small feet and I got the garmont xena's ,its the mens endorphin which becomes the xena under 25 or so at least in north america ,they got other models in euroland .I use em with BD verdicts and I find them to be a good combo
the axon is even stiffer & dynafit compatible don't know how small it goes or check for a womens modle of the same boot
does your wife have skinny feet or fat feet ?

May I humbly suggest the Scarpa Domina? Based on the Hurricane. Kellie has some... ;)
as of a few years ago I had to hunt for boots for skibee. She skis a 22 (or smaller if it was made) in her alpine boots.
The smallest thing we could find was a garmont, and then added booster straps and fulltilt tounges to that. Works great now for her. The size 3 scarpa was too big (the closest other boot) and the dynafits where all way too mushy to start with

My $.02 take on Endorphin:
Heel pocket is nice & snug.
Medium overall width.
Medium+ volume over one's instep.
Shell(ie forefoot) is easy to expand..but the material has some elasticity to it.
Toebox is not super high, thus I have to touch up every ~5 ski days for full volume.
*Will be warmer with either the "race-fit" Intuition liner or Dynafit "Zzero TF High liner".<--2 great liners..imho
*The screw-in alpine sole is nice...although if applying toe-shim...these soles stay on, unless she has a wizard of bootguy.
