Switch the edit interface, not the skin.
Under control panel, go to Edit Options. Then scroll down to Misc. Options/Message Editor. Switch Interface to standard or basic, then save. Log off, then back on again. You should be good to go.
Try going to the quick-style chooser at the bottom left of your page. Select "Suit Style". It's the same background as v2.0, but without all the bugs. Admins added it last week or so to address the posting/edit issues many were having.
