Best July ever? Them be big claims. I hear it is still small yet in Maine. Kind of wish I was back there right about now, getting ready to get some surf with the ole boys.
:rolleyes2 Driving around the north shore (of Boston) yesterday, I saw ALOT of surfboards on rooftops...and there's really no decent swell yet.

Just got back from the Jersey shore where the bertha swell created some nice conditions for the weekend. The wave were 3-6' with southwest winds.. Our home break was closing out pretty good so we drove north to manasquan inlet where the jetty protected the break from the crankin south east winds.. Alot of guys out but the waves were pretty good and definately packed a punch..took a few beatings and caught some good sets all in all a good weekend...hoping to get down there on tuesday to catch the tail end of the swell with some better wind direction hopefully
bertha broke my nose. i dropped in too late, went end over end, the ocean and its wrath slammed me face first into the ocean floor. came up gushing massive amounts of blood from the nostrils. it was pretty gnarly
Way to get after it. Pretty flat out here today. Hope some of that background south fills in for the morning. Reports back from Maine showed a decent swell.
North Shore is probably way to shadowed from the Cape for this storm. Tell them kooks to head south to Rhode Island.
Was fuuun except for the few hold downs that scared me shitless. Not as fun today.. too many douche longboarders on 12ft boards going for EVERYTHING. Why do people do this?
