The GF and i got off the Juany on tuesday. Was a great trip,84miles and five days of pleasantry. With one rapid. Still a great time though. Temps were in the 100's so we made our best effort to stay shaded. Made that ice last all five days too. The pools at Slickhorn gulch were fuckin sick. Clear, warm water with clif jumping. That place is amazing. It's fun gettin laid at every camp spot too. It was my 2nd trip so i didn't take quite as many shots.
Looking down into the Goosenecks from Gooseneck State Park. We camped down in there on night two.

I'll always consider the San Juan a classic multi-day float trip. I kinda like it better at low water though, the water is much more clear and green, and Government rapid is way more technical. But some of the pools at Slickhorn are not as full though so its a tradeoff.
