June skiing in the Uintas - POV Helmet Cam Action - June 18, 2008
We took a chance, hoping the road in was clear of snow... no luck. So we had to park over a mile away from our intended jump off point.
We also picked up some good Wyoming beer for the reward... mmmm beeeer.
I gotta thank my buddy Dave for coming along as I've been eyeing this peak for a long time now. Today was the day... it was a good day!
nice! looks fun. how was the snow? thinking of heading there this wknd.

Great POV. I was up there yesterday and skied above Trial Lake
Let the summer keep on giving I say as the corn keeps ripping

very cool; way to take advantage of the winter that just won't die and tag something you've been eyeing for 15 years .... truly "The Waiting Game" :yourock:
that may have just motivated me to pull the skis & skins back out and go get some corn

Dooo it... doooo it
I think I'm ending the season with that one. But with the amount of snow up there that line will be skiable well into July.

There's a POV tip in there regarding how cool it is when your shadow is on the snow ahead of you.

That line looked like so much fun. Thanks for posting. Hmmm, might have to head out there next time I'm in town.

Splat, I agree. I wish there was even more shadow action but I had the camera pointed up a little too much.
I really have been enamored by that peak. There are just so many sweet lines and every thing is perfect about it. You know, I pretty much keep to myself but I think it would be awesome to get a bunch of folks together for an annual weekend "corn festival" of sorts. Circle up the wagons lakeside for a weekend of partying, fishing, and shredding. Utah's own Kings and Corn... :yourock:

Effin' LOVE that song!
Some nice GS action on the apron, too... Looks fun as hell. Many thanks.
