Florida maggs, what will I catch?

I'm headed to Boca Raton this upcoming sunday to visit some family and get some fishing in. My bro in law is going to take me deep sea (I don't have the details what/where/how) yet. Just curious what's in season, what to expect etc? I've been out with him before, but we were just a few miles offshore and mostly slayed Mahi Mahi.

I hear the gefilte are running over in Boca.


Yeah, Dolphin, Kings, tuna. I would be happy just trolling weed lines for dolphin all day. Throw a fly at 'em when they are schooled up.

Overdue TR, I'll let the pics do most of the talking. We got out for one full day trolling from about 1 mile off Delray out to about 5. Skunked around in the weeds hoping to get into the dolphin, but alas we only brought in one. A few days later we fished the reef about 1/2 mile out in about 125 feet of water over a nice shelf. Brought in some nice fish but not the lunkers I was hoping for. Love the deep sea shit, makes the trout back in MT look like childs play.
