MA Bass fishin 5/1 & 5/3
So I made a quick trip back home this past weekend for a Sox game and got a few days of fishing in. The weather left something to be desired, but who cares... we landed our first larrys of the season. They weren't lunkers by any means, but it was just awesome to be out there.
First fish... 10 min on the water. We were excited to say the least.

NIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE. Where exactly in MA do you fish? I fish a lot in small ponds in northeastern MA and I can't wait to get on the water this weekend.

Suburbs northwest of Boston... Concord/Carlisle/Lincoln/Sudbury areas. Mainy fish in this one spot, but being that myself and 3 friends are the only ones who have slayed it for the past 7-8 years, I can't disclose exactly where it is.
Although late in the season, we spend most of our time on the Concord River.

Bass fishing is tons of fun - you should hit them with a fly rod!
I took to bass fishing the few years I lived in Texas. They can have some of the most violent strikes and are a good fight on the fly rod.
