TR: Coalpit, 4-26-08

After skiing January-like-pow on Little Superior on friday with Otter, Jason West and I decided to give Coalpit a go on saturday. We headed directly up the Coalpit drainage, rather than the Y couloir. A nasty bushwack put us just below the waterfall, which was easily passed to skiers right and should be filled in for a bit longer. It was pretty good skining with minimal booting the rest of the way. Caught our first views of the head wall...

Had some great pow in the trees after the headwall and a corn filled drainage to top the day off.

Xover, you know you're just angry b/c you don't have a bike. It's like all your friends are out getting laid and you're in the longest dry spell and keep venting that chicks are the devil. You need to just get over it and sack up and doooo it.
