The Flyline thread.
What do you have that you like. What have you had that you don not like.
I'm on the hunt for a new 6wt line.

Rio Selective Trout 3wt-wf. Super-supple can shoot all 80 or 90 feet of it on clam day. Very Little memory. Dislikes very easy to cut.

Rio AquaLux MidgeTip 5wt-wf. Kind of a cool lake or slow deep river line. The sinking head is clear the main body is yellow. A little on the stiff side, but good for flipping bigger flies. A wee bit of memory. Good line in the wind.

Cortland Precision Trout. Western Drifter 5wt-wf. Great for big fast water, supple enough for the slower waters. High float tip, maybe 6ft long. Tough as nails. Shoots well. Dislikes, it has a we bit of memory, kind of a pain in the wind.
What say you?

In salt water I use Sci Angler Striped Bass (intermediate) or the SaltWater taper (floating). Love 'em both.
In fresh water I use either a Orvis Wonderline Bass Bug taper on my 6wt, which is great for weighted nymphs, and of course bass bugs.
