slide next to the tram

first off i have to establish the point that i am a lifty at snowbasin no one other than the ski patrol, lifties, and the camera men 2 of them saw this. anyways Nat. Geo. was up at basin today doing a special on slides. Ski patrol took two 2lb charges and set off a slide for them to film no pictures but if you know basin the slide went about half the way down to the mount ogden bowl road. It was one of the first slides i have seen it was pretty interesting be right by the patrollers as they set all of this up. every one was excited because the rumor was that they were going to use one 8lb charge which is huge as far as control explosives go. All in all pretty impressive sorry no pictures..
