Looks like the deal I thought I had for some MegaWatts fell through :( so I am looking at other fatties and there a few of these kicking around. Is the 07/08 version with the earlier rise and taper better than the previous versions? I am looking for something that will allow me to drive the tips (relatively) and still keep them afloat. Any comments would be appreciated.
They are really fun. So quick to turn in the trees and the float provides a "surfy" sensation. The down side I am discovering is that they ski short. Only a 186 to start, twin tip and early rise means that they feel small. I'm 6' 190 and want more length. They may be for sale soon :wink:Quote:

take alook at zach giffin on the line site. ski's the 130's all year round.
Mine are at home so I will be vague for the moment regarding rise and taper. I dont think the rise is that distinct, it was less than I had expected when ordering. The taper from the tip to the widest point is probably a few inches back from where it used to be and again is not very distinct. The camber is less than my gotamas and much less than my prophet 90's. I will measure when I get a chance.Quote:

I feel like the prophet 130s are actually a great pow tree ski because they float so high (as you would expect) and turn very quickly. It is so easy to scrub speed, which is good because they are fast in pow. I just think that in open areas or when making large radius turns, they feel short to me.
