I went there last year for the first time. It's a lot of fun. The first day we did Mary's Loop, and the second day we did Chutes-n'-Ladders. Mary's was a little technical in spots--a few very short hike-a-bikes here and there--but overall it was a great ride. I think with the optional loop that you have to climb down too (I forget the name of it), it's like 25-ish miles total.
Chutes-n'-Ladders was much less technical, but it was a lot of fun 'cause you could open it up a bit.
I'd recommend going to Fruita--it's a nice change from all the rocks at Moab.
One more thing, if you go there and plan to camp, go stay at the Colorado National Monument Park. It's a BEAUTIFUL campsite that is on a plateau and overlooks all of Fruita and the surroundings. It's a little further from the trails and the highway, but it's WELL worth it.
Have fun!
that loop you climb down into is called Horsethief Bench, I think.
Anyway, go to Fruita, go to Over the Edge Cyclery in town, the answers you seek are there.
